Program Areas

Canadian Studies involves an interdisciplinary examination of the history, culture, society, politics, economy and art of Canada. It includes both an internal and an external comparison with other nations. Canadian Studies spans a diverse number of topics and seeks to understand important issues about Canada and Canada's place in the world both past and present. This minor is of relevance to virtually every program at Mount Royal University, particularly so in the areas of business, history, politics, literature, economics and education.
